Ndabeni-Abrahams put on special leave after violating lockdown rules
Communications Minister, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has been put on special leave following an apparent contravention of the national lockdown regulations.
President Cyril Ramaphosa says Nbabeni-Abrahams is now on leave for two months - one of which will be unpaid.
Wednesday morning's decision came amid a public furore over a photograph posted on Instagram.
It showed Nbabeni-Abrahams having a meal with former deputy higher education minister, Mduduzi Manana and his family - at his home.
The President summoned the Minister to explain herself and says he's accepted her apology for the violation but that the law should take its course.

Manana says the Communication Minister was at his home on Sunday to collect Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).
His family was having lunch - so he invited her to join them.
