KZN Frontline Hero: Joanne Stanley, essential worker in a Durban Hospital

"My best friend of 15 years Joanne Stanley is an essential worker in a KZN hospital, she sacrifices her life daily in the fight to curve the Covid-19 pandemic."


East Coast Drive is on a mission to recognise frontline heroes in KZN, those people who are considered an essential service and are not able to safely tuck themselves away at home like the rest of us but on the contrary, have to risk infection of themselves and their family members, in order to keep the country afloat.
