Company donates masks to KZN's essential workers

A massive donation of face masks has bolstered KwaZulu-Natal's fight against the spread of COVID-19.

Premier Sihle Zikalala accepted the donation of more than a-hundred-thousand masks by a Chinese manufacturer in Durban.
They will be used by healthcare personnel and other essential staff during the lockdown.

"We want to thank that contribution, and we are hoping that they will continue to work with us."
Speaking about the private sector, he says at times like these, it's crucial to put people before profits.
"We need to support each other, and we must not, especially in the private sector, always want to generate income even in time of crisis. In times of crisis and disasters, we must lend a hand and support each other."
