Ruby Rose slams Katy Perry's Taylor Swift diss track

Taylor Swift's BFF Ruby Rose has accused Katy Perry of going "low" with her 'Swish Swish' diss track.

Proving that Taylor Swift's "girl squad" is more than a good marketing gimmick, Ruby Rose has come out swinging to protect the singer.

The model and actress has called out Katy Perry for going "low" in her new song, 'Swish Swish', which features rapper Nicki Minaj.

Katy released the track at midnight on Friday, and fans have already speculated that the song is in response to Taylor's 'Bad Blood' single, which was allegedly about her.

The 'Bon Appétit' star sings in the song:

"Don’t you come for me
No, not today
You’re calculated
I’ve got your number
Because you’re a joke
And I’m a courtside killer queen"

Ruby is less than impressed with Katy's latest offering, and took to Twitter shortly after it was released to criticise the track.

"Purposeful poop" to "bomb a petit" to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make 'Wit..I mean "fetch" happen," she posted.

Shortly after that, Ruby tweeted: "I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer."

But it seems Ruby only has bad blood with Katy, because she had nothing but praise for Nicki's verse on the song.

"Not gonna lie Nicki is great on it and basically the only part that doesn't sound a mess," she tweeted.

Katy's new song comes days after revealing the title of her upcoming album, which will be called 'Witness'.
