Sky: Plan where and how to shop on #BlackFriday

Sky: Plan where and how to shop on #BlackFriday

Black Friday is upon us and I know it's very exciting but it can also be very stressful. Here are my top tips to help you out!

Black Friday Tips from Sky
So many things on sale but it's only for one day so you really have to maximize your time and channel your energy in the right direction on the day.

First thing first , before you even leave the house and go shopping make sure you know what you want.

This will save you so much time because you won't have to be walking around like a clueless person still deciding on what you came for.

Make sure you have all your eggs in one basket. What I mean is go to a shopping centre which you know you will find everything and also please keep in your hood - it's safer that way.

For example, if you're in Umhlanga or that part of the world use Gateway Shopping Centre. It has everything from gadgets, clothes, furniture, home appliances and groceries.

Vice versa if you in the Durban area go to Musgrave or Pavilion it has everything and dear people on the M13, they have built you the perfect mall Watercrest...use it!

Don't intrude on people's doorsteps by traveling 60km to a mall while you have one next door. In this way we minimize traffic and these ridiculous queues.

Umlazi you have Mega City - USE IT.

We live in a world of amazing technology where you don't even have to leave your house to go buy stuff. You can shop online whilst sitting on the couch watching Manchester United beating Arsenal. It's is amazing,  easy, simple and usually has bigger discounts than going to a shop.

Lastly, let's not get to carried away and spend too much money. School holidays will go bye in a flash and soon it will be back to school and uniforms to be purchased.

You don't want to spend all your money on Black Friday and then you won't have money to buy Sihle's or Mbali's school stuff come  January.

In closing shop smart, be safe, enjoy Black Friday and most importantly buy what you need not what you want.
