LISTEN: Shoppers queue to cash in on #BlackFriday

Eager shoppers are looking to make the most of Black Friday specials today.
Some consumers have been queuing for hours to get their hands on discounted products.
The shopping frenzy comes the day after Thanksgiving in the US and traditionally signals the start of the Christmas shopping season.

These Durban shoppers have been telling Newswatch how they feel about Black Friday here in South Africa:An economist feels the Black Friday shopping deals are good for South African consumers and retailers.
He says Black Friday is also good for retailers and businesses as it helps them move and clear stock.
Durban Metro Police said earlier in the week that officers will be deployed to busy shopping hubs today to ensure traffic is not affected.
Sasfin Securities' David Shapiro says shoppers can save themselves a lot of money if they plan to buy items they need and intended purchasing.
