Our CSI initiative, The Big Favour, has launched a Winter campaign called, ‘Help Keep A Child Warm This Winter’, in partnership with Imbalilanga Foundation to achieve our goal of supporting underprivileged schools across KwaZulu-Natal through the donation of new school shoes and jerseys.

Menelisi Luthuli, Divisional Marketing Executive at SPAR KZN, popped in to speak to the Big Favour and the East Coast Breakfast team to announce their efforts to ensure the campaign continues to be successful.

Our friends at SPAR KwaZulu-Natal have decided they’re giving ECR and The Big Favour 2,100 pairs of school shoes.

Now that schools have reopened, the team at the Imbalilanga Foundation have been hard at work in our communities identifying additional schools where ECR and The Big Favour can assist.

Here's the audio of Menelisi Luthuli chatting to the East Coast Breakfast team:

We invite everyone to participate in this campaign.

 How to get involved:

• Click on the “Big Favour – I want to donate cash” tab to make a cash donation

• Visit East Coast Radio offices in Umhlanga to drop off new school shoes

• The campaign will run from the 14th of July to the 28th of July, with our first school donation handover to take place next Wednesday.

Let us unite and make a difference by keeping children warm this Winter.
