It's a tall, thin white male with dark hair, and who is quite disheveled in appearance with a smokers raspy voice. He was at her block of flats in North Ridge Road on Monday afternoon, and had followed one of the cars into the property at approximately 15.40, walked to the other gate, buzzed one of the units (whom he knew was not there having established that from the earlier intercom calls) then followed the same guy who'd now parked his car in his garage, into the building through the second locked gate.  He then asked if the lift was working then got in. The tenant, even though he looked a bit dodgy, had no idea that this was a potential burglar.  This guy broke through a heavy duty security gate and front door with ease.  He ransacked the cupboards, tipped over the bed, took a thin gold chain and left. He was not interested in large items like the TV or electrical stuff.  He then broke the other lock on the front door leading to the front of the building, threw the lock and bolt into the flower pot inside and left. He works alone, is very calm and confident and is believed to operate in the Morningside area.
