University in Ireland to offer a bachelor's degree in Influencing

This might encourage other universities to do the same...

We have heard of kids expressing their undying love of becoming influencers when they grow up.

And, yes, we guess that is something to aspire to nowadays, considering the amount of money that some influencers make.

Well, the good news for those looking to get into becoming an influencer is that there is a university in Ireland, South East Technological University, that will be offering a full degree on how to become an Influencer.

"Starting next year, South East Technological University (SETU) in Carlow, Ireland will offer an influencer degree. The Bachelor of Arts in Content Creation and Social Media will provide students with a comprehensive insight into the lucrative and influencer-driven profession." (Class Lifestyle)

It seems that they have managed to get the art form down to a degree. The course includes topics on crisis management, public relations, celebrity studies (that's new), social psychology, and video and audio editing (obviously).

After the pandemic, there are many people who have broken out of the box when it comes to the traditional idea of a 9-5 job.

And so, this Bachelor's Degree is definitely something that will be popular amongst a large group of people.

There has been some conjecture over the long-term popularity around the course, especially considering that many Influencers are self-taught.
