Spanish couple get ring back after losing it in 1979

Ever lost something and thought you'd never find it again?

A Spanish couple who lost their wedding ring in the Mediterranean sea 37 years ago have got it back after they thought it had gone forever.

Augustin Aliaga lost his wedding ring just five months after his wedding to wife Juani Sanchez in 1979.

Augustin was swimming in the ocean when he realised his ring dropped off his finger. After hours of searching for it, he gave up hope of ever finding it again! 

Enter the diving instructor who found the ring and posted it on Facebook, not saying that on the ring was the date of the couple's wedding and the name of the bride.

The couple's niece saw the Facebook post and the ring has now been returned.
