On to the final they go: The Springboks thank South Africa for their support

South Africans were on the edge of their seats this past Sunday during a nail-biting match between the Boks and Wales. Following their win, Siya Kolisi and his team sent a major shoutout to South Africans for their support.

Go Bokke! If you didn't find yourself glued to a TV this weekend, are you even South African?

I was at the edge of my seat before and during the match. It was touch and go but the Boks managed to pip Wales in a 19-16 win. They have now booked their seat at the final, which takes place next Saturday against England.

Following their close win, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi shared a selfie-style video of him and the boys in the change room after the game thanking South Africans for their love and support.

"We just want to say thank you so much for your support. It really means a lot to us. We gave our best today for you and please one more week to go, six more days... Keep on supporting us and send the messages. We appreciate it," Kolisi said.

If you looked at the Twitter trends on Sunday, it was flooded with all things rugby and fans came out in their numbers to show them some love. Even President Cyril Ramaphosa tweeted out a message.

All I can say is that all South Africans need to put on their game face and show their support. I'm backing the boys all the way. Maybe I'll get Kiran to do a reading? Hmmm...
