Madeleine McCann’s parents suspects for her disappearance?
Updated | By Damon Beard
Remember Madeleine McCann who went missing in Portugal all those years ago? Well, there has been a development.
Portugal’s highest court has said that Madeleine McCann’s parents have still not been proven innocent over their daughter’s disappearance.
Kate and Gerry McCann have denied over and over again that they had anything to do with the child's disappearance, despite claims from a former police chief that Maddie died in their flat and that they faked her abduction to cover it up.
Portuguese Supreme Court judges said that lifting of the parent's status as ‘arguidos’ or formal suspects and the archiving of the criminal case into Maddie’s disappearance did not mean they were innocent.
Watch this video as The McCanns relive the night Maddie went missing.
