Going up: Woman narrowly escapes being chopped in half by elevator

If you've ever had or currently experience elevator anxiety, this may leave you feeling all kinds of weird.

Elevator doors wait for no one. Their sole purpose is to get people where they want to go as quickly as possible.
With that in mind, one woman nearly suffered serious injury by a malfunctioning elevator in Shanghai, China.

In the video uploaded by New York Post, you see the woman stepping into the elevator. She tripped as she got inside. Suddenly, the elevator's door began to shut and it starts moving up.
Just inches away from being crushed, the woman managed to escape narrowly without injury.
