Girl has the best response when asked why she wants doll with different skin tone

A little girl, who did so well at potty training, was treated by her parents with a shopping trip.

After deciding what to pick, she chose a doll with a different skin tone.

When she got to the till point with her mom, though, the cashier asked if the little girl was buying the doll for her friend or going to a birthday party?

She then asked if it was definitely the doll the girl wanted as it didn't look like her.

The little girl had it sorted though and promptly replied: "She’s a doctor like I’m a doctor. And I’m a pretty girl and she’s a pretty girl. See her pretty hair? And see her stethoscope?"

Following the quick response from the toddler, the cashier reportedly dropped the matter stating: ‘Oh, that’s nice’.

Since being uploaded to Facebook, the post has been shared more than 15,000 times and racked up over 125,000 likes.

Her mom made a hugely valid point afterwards, saying: "This experience just confirmed my belief that we aren’t born with the idea that colour matters. Skin comes in different colours just like hair and eyes and every shade is beautiful."
