#ECRToyStory18: Damon on the toy that started his obsession with planes
Everyone who knows Damon knows that although he once had a fear of flying, he also has an affinity for planes. This obsession of his started when he was just five-years-old.
I was five-years-old, and I had a plastic model plane. I will never forget that plane.
I used to take it everywhere I went. Day in, day out I would amuse myself with that little plastic plane.
I also remember that we had a big concrete patch at the back of our garden, and I would take a piece of chalk and draw a runway and a make-believe airport. I would take the plane and land it and fly around the garden.

It used to keep me entertained for hours on end. I was obsessed with planes. I remember getting into my mom and dads car, and with my two sisters next to me, I would land the plane on their laps and take it off again.
It meant so much to me, so I can only begin to imagine how much it would mean to a little kid that has never had the opportunity to play with a toy before.
