Digging deep: Doctor pulls live tick from inside man's ear
A doctor in Malaysia could not believe what he witnessed when a patient came to him with something bizarre inside his ear.
I remember going to an Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist once. I had a really bad ear ache, and when he asked me if I used earbuds to clean my ears. I replied 'yes' and he said: "You should never put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear".
Okay, granted, but there are some things that are smaller than your elbow that have ended up in people's ears, whether they liked it or not. According to Health24, doctors have found some strange things hiding in the ears of individuals such as a 2.6cm cockroach, a fully-grown dandelion, an even a tooth (I have no comment on this one).

I think this would be my worst nightmare ever. Imagine going to an ENT specialist because you get an itchy ear which causes pain, and the doc finds a live tick inside?!
Yes, it did happen and it's bizarre. A doctor in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has filmed the horrific moment he removed a live tick from a patient's ear. It is not certain how it got in there, but he added that it could have been "very dangerous" if he got bitten by it.
I thought it wouldn't be as bad as the time the doctor removed a blood-sucking leech from a man's nostril, but actually, it's worse. It's revolting!
