Watch: 50 moms create emotional 'carpool karaoke' video with Down Syndrome children

In celebration of World Down Syndrome Day on 21 March, mothers of children with Down Syndrom created a video to celebrate the one connection they all have - one extra chromosome.

According to Independent, ahead of World Down Syndrome Day on Wednesday, the 50 mothers and their children were recorded lip-syncing and performing Makaton to the tune of Christina Perri’s ‘A Thousand Years.’ The video has been viewed more than two-million times!

The aim of the video created by a Facebook group called Designer Genes was "to show the world just how ordinary and fun life with the condition is and how they ‘Wouldn’t Change a Thing’."
Makaton is a language program which uses signs and symbols alongside speech. It is designed to help hearing-impaired people with learning or communication difficulties
