This note left on a stranger's doorstep will break your heart

If you have lost someone you will know that you constantly look out for signs from them. For my family, butterflies and feathers are significant as they link us and make us feel closer to my husband Mike's late mom who loved both those things and when she was so gravely ill she said that whenever we saw either of those she was sending us love. Another family I know has the same affinity with dragon flies.

This darling note was left by a little boy named Jake after he and his sister removed a butterfly wind chime from her veranda. The reason being their late mom loved butterflies. The exchange between the once owner and the boy is so touching.
