Mom slammed for unusual drug advice

An American mom gave her son some advice about drugs that has raised a few eyebrows.

She has been slammed for the video message she sent her teenage son who was on his way to a music festival.

While she encourages the boy not to use hardcore drugs, there is one drug she is perfectly okay with – marijuana!

The woman has come under fire for sending mixed signals to the teen.

"Please do not do drugs today. If you are thinking about it, I swear to god I will kill you. No drugs, no molly, no crack... but you can smoke a little marijuana," she says in the video. 

I break out in a hot sweat thinking about how to navigate three teenagers at some stage of the game as far as sex, drugs, and general safety once able to drive.

I must say I like the idea of having an open and honest relationship with my kids where they can talk to me about anything.
