Man live streams himself committing suicide
Updated | By Jane Linley-Thomas
It is so sad to see that social media has become the platform to share such sad and tragic visual content. When will it stop? Warning: Distressing content.
Although the footage is not clear, the fact that this young man is in such a low place and felt going live online to record it shows how skewed our society is.
Just this weekend I saw on Facebook a friend of mine publicly shaming his wife.
I love social media for the fact that is can connect family and friends across the planet with pictures of grandchildren and special moments that happen miles a part, but publicly shaming and over sharing, in my opinion, is not what social media is for.
Can you imagine this poor young man's family having this footage as an everlasting memory of his final moments? So sad.
My heart goes out to them.
Warning: Distressing content.
