Great Dane gets extremely jealous over a new member of the family

Being a mom of three kids, I’m aware of the times that a power struggle over my attention may occur. However, prior to watching this clip, I wasn’t aware it happened between pets.

This Great Dane noticed that his ‘mom’ was holding a new puppy in her arms and he was having none of it. At all costs, he tried to break up the cuddle session between mom and his new sibling - and it's adorable! All he wanted was her undivided attention. 

We have only ever had one pet at a time. A little ginger cat name Fanta followed by a little bunny called Sophia. I can’t imagine how it must feel for a pet owner to delicately introduce a new pet into the home where pets already reside? 

This video goes to show that furry friends also feel the pinch of sibling rivalry. Damn, I would hate having a standoff with this pooch!
