Girl shares her horrific flight experience on Facebook

Meli Razavi was traveling from Johannesburg to Cape Town on Safair when the most horrific thing happened during the flight!

This is what happened during the flight as explained by Meli:

‘I had the most terrifying experience last night while flying to Cape Town from Jhb with SAFAIR .(was my first experience with this airline , didn't know they even existed as I didn't book this flight myself ) The lack of communication and unprofessional manner of which they handled the situation made everyone speechless and horrified . 

The pilot just announced (rapid decent ) (rapid decent ) lights went off , oxygen masks dropped and there was no further communication and the plane was going down . Oxygen masks were not working and some of the mask were not even connected to the pipes which they fall on passengers laps .

People were saying their last words , praying to whatever they believed in ,Most were holding each others hands and some were kissing and some smsing their loved ones and saying their goodbyes.

I had panic attack and there was no help . Only after 5min the pilot announced we going to have emergency land back in Jhb . I'm glad everyone is alive and I'm on another plane back to Cape Town but definitely is NOT safair.’

How terrifying must this experience have been! 

Not only for the passengers but can you imagine getting a goodbye distress call from someone you love as the plane they are on is in a descent!? 

The way this was apparently dealt with is beyond unbelievable, unprofessional and unkind.
