We all love going out with friends, but there's always that one friend who likes complaining. Do you think Nomhle is a douche for ruining outings with her friends by complaining about plastic straws or is she doing a good thing?
Below is Nomhle's letter to Stacey:
Hi Stacey,
So I'm an environmental scientist and I love nature. I just really hate seeing plastic straws at restaurants cause they have a very bad impact on the environment and sea animals.
Now my problem is, I always bring this up to managers whenever I'm out with friends and I tell them to rather use paper. It's led to a few heated arguments and we've even been kicked out twice for disturbing the peace. My friends have threatened to stop going out with me because I always do. I'm not about to stop cause I care so much.
Am I am a douche for always ruining my outings with my friends by complaining about plastic straws?
