Your wildest superstitions

Superstitions have always been a part of life. Even when you think you have outgrown them, they find a way to follow you everywhere.

While some people think some rituals might sound a little odd or ridiculous, you won't catch anyone forgetting to say that little prayer, crossing their fingers, covering the mirrors around the house when there is lighting, and basically just making sure that they stay alive.

Some superstitions may sound completely absurd, but others are so believable that doubting them wouldn't be an option. 

Our parents are probably all to blame from all the stories that they told us growing up, but other superstitions you hear along the way. 

Sometimes you actually don't believe them, but it just comes naturally to abide by the superstition because, WHAT IF!?

On a blog called 55 of the Strangest Superstitions From Around the World, one superstition was don't place two mirrors opposite each other because while the infinite reflections may look cool, in Mexico, facing mirrors open a doorway for the devil. Hectic!
