Welcome to South Africa where people are known for crossing the street at the worst possible junctions.
With so many near miss viral videos when we see a video like these we tread very lightly.
However this video made us grab our eyedrops because we couldn't possibly be seeing this clearly.

This man was definitely not a paid actor with this accident attempt but rather looking for a quick pay-day when we pounced on this opportunity.
The man in the video is captured jumping onto the car just as it comes close to him in an attempt to look like a pedestrian, car accident.
Luckily a security tape nearby caught this all for legal purposes as well as our enetrtainment.

Despite this unbelievable descend, we definitely weren't falling for his tactics.
Many users are just as "astounded" as we are:
- This is as cheap a scam as they will ever come
- Claiming from RAF...apparently it the easiest way.
- I hope there is no claim for something as deliberate as this!
- I gotta give him 10 points for trying.
- He wants to feature on the next episode of I blew it.
