The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is making its old content available on SABC+, and we couldn't be more excited.
Imagine rewatching classic South African dramas, comedies and documentaries at your convenience.
The SABC's CEO, Nomsa Chabeli, recently revealed plans to make use of the broadcaster's extensive catalogues and potentially license them to streaming services worldwide.
According to My Broadband, this move aims to generate additional revenue for the SABC, which has been facing financial challenges.
Launched in November 2022, SABC+ has already gained an estimated one million active monthly users.
The platform has been relaunched with stability improvements, new features and higher resolution streaming.
With banner ads on the horizon, SABC+ is poised to become a major player in the streaming world.

HOW TO LISTEN TO EAST COAST RADIO
1. Listen to East Coast Radio on the FM (frequency modulation) spectrum between 94 and 95 FM on your radio.
2. Listen live to ECR by clicking here or download the ECR App (iOS/Android).
3. Listen to East Coast Radio on the DStv audio bouquet, channel 836.
4. Switch to the audio bouquet on your Openview decoder and browse to channel 606.
