No mamba-ling after we heard about the snake that tried to cross the road

Why did this snake cross the road?

Another day, another snake on the loose!
This snake was a highway high roller who desperately tried to get across to the other side... but nearly ended up "on the other side".
The injured black mamba was protected on a busy road near Glenmore as a Good Samaritan was waving cars down to avoid colliding with the serpent.

Durban's famous snakesman, Nick Evans, came to the rescue.

After this particular incident, the mamba mayhem continued to roll in.
Nick Evans shared more of his snake-cidents in recent times.
Here is a small black mamba that was operating in a house.

Last but not least, on Monday, Nick helped out the Monkey Hotline who got into an entanglement with, you guessed it, another black mamba!
Nick shares: "Small mambas can be a bit tricky. They're fast and can be fesity. But fortunately, this was a relatively easy catch."
