With social media comes a host of dangers, some known, some unknown. But the main thing is that you never truly know who you are speaking to and that isn't just misleading but extremely dangerous.

Case in point, Tinder Swindler.

A recent incident shocked both social media users and parents when a mother found out that her 11-year-old was chatting to a Daytona Executive about purchasing a Rolls Royce.

Mom, Itumeleng Mokwena, posted on Facebook in November asking parents how often they check their kids' WhatsApp messages.

The 11-year-old boy was in deep conversation with the Daytona Sales Executive, Grant Baben, about purchasing a Phantom Billionaire edition. This is no ordinary Rolls Royce but an “outstanding limited edition of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan”.

"In the accompanying screenshots, Kamogelo and Baben messaged each other back and forth, with the 11-year-old even asking for a discount. inevitably, Baben invited him to the showroom to check out the car." (IOL)

Despite the catfishing, Grant Baben invited the young boy to the showroom. That's not something every 11-year-old gets to experience.
