Miley Cyrus is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone - the 20th anniversary of her hit Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana. In a recent interview with Sirius XM, Cyrus confirmed that she's working on a special project to commemorate the occasion.
"I want to design something really, really special for it," Cyrus said, "because it really was the beginning of all of this."

The project is expected to be a heartfelt tribute to the show that launched Cyrus' career. While details are still under wraps, fans are speculating about what it could entail, from re-recordings or live performances of Hannah Montana hits to a possible documentary or limited-edition merchandise.
A full cast reunion or series reboot seems unlikely, however, with some former co-stars distancing themselves from the idea.
Cyrus' relationship with Hannah Montana has evolved over the years. Initially, she struggled to shed the character's image, but now she's embracing the nostalgia and impact it had on her life.
"It's crazy to think that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed, but now that's something that when I walk into a space, it's looked at as this sense of kind of, like, nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood," Cyrus said.
The show, which premiered in 2006, catapulted Cyrus to fame and became a cultural phenomenon. With her induction as a Disney Legend in 2024, Cyrus can now perform Hannah Montana songs live again, opening up possibilities for the anniversary project.
