Fashion for a cause: Durban SPCA's thrift fair
Updated | By Stacey & J Sbu
The Durban SPCA will be hosting a fashion extravaganza with Gecko Culinary Adventure to raise funds and awareness for our furry friends in need.

The Durban SPCA is set to host a fashion extravaganza at Gecko Culinary Adventures in Windermere Centre from 8-10 July, with all proceeds going towards supporting animals in need.
The event, billed as "fashion meets compassion," will feature a diverse range of pre-loved and new dresses, bags, jewellery, men's and children's wear, shoes and other accessories. Everything for sale will be at incredibly affordable prices, ranging from R20 to R450, reports Berea Mail.
By shopping at the fair, you'll not only be treating yourself to some great deals but also supporting sustainable fashion practices and helping to reduce waste.
The SPCA is encouraging community involvement and those looking to declutter their wardrobes for a cause can donate gently used fashion items, which can be dropped off at the venue or collected upon request.
The thrift fair promises to be a fun and affordable shopping experience, with entry being free. If you purchase for R100 or more, you'll even get 10% off your meal at Gecko on the day.
