A non-horizontal drug has reported to be 99% effective on lab tests with mice. 

It targets a gene that produces retinoic acid — a form of vitamin A that fuels sperm development.

Human trials are set to start by the end of 2022.

Currently, there are only two forms of contraception for men — condoms and vasectomies.

A pill for men has always been discussed but rarely seen as a reality for the foreseeable future. 

However, according to multiple studies, the first male contraceptive pill (birth control) showed significant results at lab trials and they are finally making headway..
