Raw nature: Cheetah hunts impala
Updated | By Zaba
This is pretty amazing and sad all at the same time.
I’ve never been lucky enough to spot a cheetah in the wild. I have been to the Lion Park in Johannesburg, the Cat Rehabilitation Centre in Hluhluwe, and even got a chance to pet and feed a cheetah, but I've never seen them in their natural habitat.
According to studies, cheetahs are almost extinct, with less than 10,000 on the planet right now.
Check out this footage below which was uploaded by Albert Le Roux to LastestSightings.com which shows a cheetah cub in a hunting training session, with an impala as the chosen prey.
The impala was seen hiding in a bush and mother cheetah cleverly lured it away so she could witness how her cub would hunt it.

I honestly believe that if that were me watching this, I’d have probably tried to save the little impala! However, one must let nature play out as Mother Nature intended.
