Woman not allowed on flight because her shorts were ‘too short’

Do you think this woman’s outfit is inappropriate to board a flight?

flight

Burlesque dancer Maggie McMuffin was trying to board a flight from Boston to Seattle when she was stopped by an air hostess and told she was dressed inappropriately

The crew reportedly told her she was not allowed to board the flight unless she covered up!

McMuffin's friend Molly shared the incident with photos on Facebook!

She wrote: 'This is what she was wearing last week when JetBlue told her she was dressed inappropriately and couldn’t board the flight from Boston to Seattle she had paid for.'

No explanation was given except that the pilot said her clothes would prevent her boarding the plane.

Maggie ended up having to go to another terminal to buy a pair of women’s sleep shorts in XL for ‘proper coverage’.

According to the company’s policy, the airline has the right to remove anyone from a flight ‘whose clothing is lewd, obscene, or patently offensive’.

A JetBlue spokesman told MailOnline Travel: “The gate and onboard crew discussed the customer’s clothing and determined that the burlesque shorts may offend other families on the flight.”

Look, fashion is a personal thing, and it's an expression which I love.

This outfit looks more suited to a roller skate derby as opposed to travel threads.

However, if she feels confident, then why not, she certainly has the pins for it.

This is what she was wearing:
