#TrendReport: When good intentions in advertising backfire

The problem with good intentions is that very often they end up getting you in more trouble than you’d expect. One beauty brand discovered this recently with a body positivity campaign that didn’t quite pan out the way they’d hoped.
Adverts that celebrate people of all shapes and sizes are definitely on the rise.
However, in this case, what we saw was a brand telling people what to feel rather than telling an authentic story.
