Pizza shop owner writes honest sick note

In a world where lies and deceit are so common, it is so refreshing to come across a character like Blake Pendlebury.

Blake won big on a horse he was backing and instead of making up a tall story like he was dealing with a sick child or dealing with car troubles, he went online and was honest by sharing on his restaurant’s Facebook page that they would be closed for the night as he had a few drinks and was out celebrating. 

We have all told a white lie somewhere along the way, especially when you’re running late for work, right?
