Education Department addresses Grade 1 book drama

After a Grade 1 government-issued book sparked much conversation on social media, Jane managed to get in touch with someone from the Department of Education for some answers.

On Tuesday, we spoke to Ashmie Balmogim, a Durban mom who was concerned by the messages that she saw in her daughter's reading book. Her chat with me sparked mixed reactions.
