If this was my dad, I would be so bleak. I mean, talk about adding insult to injury?!
According to a post on Reddit, a daughter got a taste of some tough love from her dad. When she got her phone taken away from her, her dad decided to troll her back with a hilarious one-way conversation note slid under her door, asking her why she wasn't answering him back?

This post got me thinking that punishments these days are a whole lot different to when I was a kid. I remember the most severe punishment I ever got from my dad (my own fault). I was so looking forward to holiday at a friend of mine's home in Swaziland and it was two nights before I had to leave. I did something pretty naughty and to punish me he decided to tear the bus ticket up in front of my eyes - and I didn't end up going. I was devastated, to say the least. I definitely learnt a lesson. Now I see everything in life as an opportunity to learn.
As for this daughter, I'm pretty sure she learned her lesson as well after seeing this not-so-funny note from her dad.

As a parent, what type of punishment do you think is fitting when deciding to confiscate your kid's phone? How long is long enough?
