career as the Stormers Captain and how he dealt with racist comments made after
his marriage,
Springbok and Stormers flank Siya Kolisi took over as captain of the Western Cape outfit just before Super Rugby kicked off and in doing so became the first ever Black African captain of the Stormers.

He’s been a Springbok since 2013 and is one of the more experienced players at the Stormers.
He got his career as captain off to the perfect start in round one of Super Rugby, as the Stormers beat the Bulls 37-24.
In a recent interview with Phat Joe, Siya talks up about his dynamic family and more importantly about how he dealt with all the racist comments and the social media uproar which went on last year after his marriage to his wife, Rachel.
