According to Sihle, the ANC planned to spend R50 million on the campaign to discredit the EFF and the DA through several media platforms, including social media and fake election posters.
Sihle says Sisulu discussed spending R10 000 on fake posters of EFF leader Julius Malema holding an AK-47.
In his first radio interview regarding the ‘War Room’ issue, Sisulu laughed off all claims.
Chatting to Phat Joe on East Coast Drive, Sisulu strongly denied receiving or spending any money on anything to do with a covert campaign.
