Just short of its 4000th episode, fans of “7de Laan” are rejoicing after a same-sex kiss aired.
The popular South African soapie has just celebrated 17 years on TV and on Thursday night a historic moment happened on the show.

For the first time ever, the soapie showed a same-sex kiss that happened in a scene between Logan (Simon Tuit) and Divan (Arnu de Villiers) in front of waiters and patrons in the café, Oppiekoffie.
There have been mixed reactions to the kiss. Some have said that the show is a bit too conservative to air the kiss, while other were thrilled. Either way, it was an historic moment for the show.
