Lamong Rushing, a pastor from the Faith Worship Family Center in Kansas City, has come under fire after he posted a video of a disabled obese woman by the name of Becky Kittrell being towed by a pick-up truck in her wheelchair.

The footage shows her being towed away as he mutters the words “only in Kansas City. Do y’all see this right here?”.
Becky told a local broadcaster that because of the extremely cold weather, she desperately wanted to get home quickly and some good people with a truck offered to help her. When Becky’s son showed her the video, she was upset as she felt that the pastor could’ve rather asked her if she needed assistance.
When the pastor eventually learned of the reason why she was being towed home, he took down the video and apologised, saying that his intention was never to make fun of the situation or be cruel in any way.

We need to be wary of the comments that we make. Rather know the reason why things happen first before passing judgement.
