'Uzalo' is giving the people of the Republic what they want; an authentic Bonnie and Clyde version like you've never seen before. 

Nelisa Mchunu who plays 'Fikile' and Simphiwe Majozi who plays 'Sbu' are the perfect partners in crime as they take South Africans through an unforgettable journey of a kasi love story.

Majozi was born on the south coast region of KwaZulu-Natal in a village called Mthwalume, and Nelisa has been working towards her dreams of stardom by studying Dramatic Arts at High School and a BA in Media Studies at WITS University.

SABC revealed last year that 'Uzalo' was the most-watched soapie in South Africa. 'Uzalo', which plays on SABC1 weekdays at 20h30, had broken all records in the history of television viewing in South Africa by reaching a total of 10.2-million viewers.
