Kris Owens was filming himself walking home in a severe thunderstorm in in Byron Bay, Australia when nature almost stroked him down!
"I was making my way home at around 2 a.m. when I was caught in the middle of an intense lightning storm," he told a news source.
"Thinking it would be a good idea to record my possible death for my mum, I got my phone and started to record, and captured the footage."
When he noticed the huge thunderbolt hit the ground just a few meters away, he seemed rather cool, calm and collected. That same evening, a 24-year-old died when struck by lightning 60 kilometers from where Ownes was.
This is insane!
