Watch: 2,500 Chinese students form the first human QR code
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
This is what we call team work! Incredible!
We've already been introduced to the QR code system for online shopping, paying the bill at restaurants, and for groceries at the shop, but 2,500 Chinese students have taken this kind of technology to a whole new level!
In China, QR codes are used for much more interesting purchases, and you can also give money to beggars using these codes! 2,500 students created a record-breaking attempt to form a 51-meter-long and 51-meter-wide QR code with the help of umbrellas.
Watch: Could this be the toughest 'Guinness World Record' ever?
Does the QR code work?
Yes it does! While scanning it, 1 million yuan bonus was received from Didi Express, which will be handed out to the students, China Daily reported.
This is absolutely amazing!
