Video: Durban taxi driver brutally assaults woman
A shocking video has emerged online of an alleged taxi driver hitting a woman in a taxi at one of Durban's CBD ranks.
"There is never an excuse for violence, and abuse against women should not be tolerated - not in this country or anywhere in the world! This man must be found and he must pay for his actions," - Darren Maule
This video was posted on Facebook. In the video we see the taxi driver talking to the woman, who is inside the taxi.
He then disgustingly slaps her. It seems as though she tries to escape, but he pulls her by her clothes, shoves her back inside the taxi, and continues to hit her.
The camera moves to where we lose sight of the taxi driver and the woman. Seconds later we hear the taxi door slam shut.
