WATCH: Fire flames light up Pearls of Umhlanga penthouse
It is reported that residents of the building were evacuated due to the fire. The incident was successfully cleared
The hotel, Pearls of Umhlanga, was reported to have experienced a fire in the early hours of June 14. Photographs indicate that the penthouse on the top floor, specifically, was alight at the Durban hotel.
It is shared that fire alarms went off at 02:30 in the morning. Residents of the building were then evacuated due to this suspected fire. Fire brigades and ambulances arrived at the scene and cleared the incident by 03:35 am.
