Orlando Pirates' future is in good hands

Milutin "Micho" Sredojević's sudden departure at Orlando Pirates has left Rulani Mokwena with a huge responsibility to lead this massive football club.

We discuss Micho's resignation, Sergio Aguero's heated argument with Pep Guardiola, and Paul Pogba's attitude. Listen to the podcast and read more in the blog below.

Mokwena is a true Buccaneer who used to watch Orlando Pirates in the VIP area as a child. The team runs within the veins of his family.

His grandfather, Eric "Scara" Sono, and uncle, Jomo Sono, played for the mighty Buccaneers and he grew up knowing what it means to wear the badge.

The 34-year old tactician has a wealth of experience in the coaching field, having assisted Steve Komphela at Platinum Stars, as well as Pitso Mosimane with the Mamelodi Sundowns team which won league titles and the CAF Champions League.

Pirates have now come for him to step into the hot seat and head up the technical team. There is no doubt about his knowledge and ability, but the only thing that will be tested are his man-management skills.

I'm backing the youngest coach in the PSL to be the Sir Alex Ferguson of Pirates.
