Msizi James releases first single 'Moon out the Sky'
Updated | By East Coast Breakfast
Before being a radio presenter he was a finalist on South
African Idols, and now he's in pursuit of his own music career.
We first met Msizi James on our TV screens when he auditioned for South African Idols in 2013, and a year later he joined East Coast Radio, bringing a fresh voice and passion for music.
"Music is my first love," Msizi said.
His new job at East Coast Radio involves him helping to give local musicians a platform to show off their talent.
He recently teamed up with some super talented young guns from Durban to create a very cool dance track, called 'Moon out the Sky'.
Featured on the track, Styles is a rapper from PMB who's been rapping since he was a young boy, and Kaiti Faul is a household name to festival goers in KZN. With an EP in hand, she is definitely someone to keep an eye on.
Marcel DaVilla is the producer extraordinaire who put the track together. He is a very gifted producer who's years of hard work are finally paying off.
"Working on the song was so much fun. We all had a similar idea for what we wanted to song to sound like," Msizi added.
With a catchy hook and enough base to get the club jumping, we hope it becomes the anthem of the summer.
'Moon out the Sky' is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Shazam.
