Not only is the DStv Premiership season coming to an end this week, but the drama is ramping up as the team from Pietermaritzburg is once again under pressure to deliver results.

On Monday, 15 May, it was revealed on Five Things You Need To Know As You Wake Up that Maritzburg United has accused the PSL of anti-fair play practices.

According to Sowetan Live media reports, Maritzburg United chairman Farouk Kadodia accused the PSL of anti-fair play practices.

The Team of Choice made this claim after acknowledging that they will finish their season on Tuesday (16 May), while their relegation rivals end their season on Saturday (20 May).

After hearing all of this, the Breakfast team wanted to get the thoughts of the head coach ahead of his side's clash with Mamelodi Sundowns.

So Darren and Sky stepped up their efforts and contacted Fadlu Davids to hear how the team has been feeling and the preparation going into their last game on Tuesday.

The Team of Choice will face league champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld (7pm) in what will be their season-concluding game.

The KZN side, who sit at the bottom of the Premiership table, will watch other relegation prospects Chippa United and Marumo Gallants play their final matches on Saturday.

Davids shared the same sentiments as his boss while hoping Golden Arrows and Swallows, who take on Chippa and Gallants respectively, put in professional performances.

"It's difficult because normally on the last day, you don't want to talk about fixing games and all these things, we trust Golden Arrows to put their best line up, we trust Swallows to go for the win to get into the top eight," says Davids.
