A community policing forum has asked residents to stop giving money to beggars.

Darren Maule recently found a notice in the Durban North area asking people to stop giving to beggars.
As much as it is a sad state of affairs that begging exists in our communities, should begging be allowed?
Many may argue that begging sometimes gets out of hand, and could potentially put your family in danger due to imposters.
